VALLEY LEE, Md. — The Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is turning up the holiday cheer tonight with its 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. This free community celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. and promises an evening filled with festive fun for all ages.
The highlight of the night? Santa and Mrs. Claus, joined by their team of merry elves, will arrive to light the tree at 6:30 p.m., spreading their signature holiday magic. Rumor has it, a certain green and grumpy holiday guest—the Grinch—might also make a surprise appearance.
