He Said, She Said; Cop Says Both Go to Jail

At 5:30 p.m. Nov. 22, Tpr. E. Evans of the Leonardtown barrack responded to Town Creek Drive for a reported domestic assault.

Investigation revealed that Lisa Ann Darr, 35, of Lexington Park, began arguing with William Ernest Cocimano Jr., 45, of Lexington Park because she believed he was having a relationship with another woman.

Darr alleges that Cocimano grabbed her by the neck and punched her in the face two times, police say, and Cocimano alleges that Darr attacked him by hitting him in the face and left hand with a bottle. He told police she then jumped on his back while he was trying to pack clothes to leave and began to punch him.

The officer observed Darr had redness on her neck only and Cocimano had injuries to his cheek and hand which were bleeding.Both refused medical treatment.

Both were arrested and charged with assault 2nd degree. They were taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, processed and held pending a bail review.
