There are two days left to help Century 21 New Millennium provide school supplies for underprivileged children in Southern Maryland.

Five Southern Maryland Century 21 New Millennium offices have been participating in the drive, which actually began in July. Various agents promoted the event by writing newsletters, distributing flyers and soliciting businesses to provide locations for collection boxes.
Nonprofit organizations and various schools help the real estate firm distribute the supplies to children. “My office in Dunkirk distributes supplies through the Calvert County Board of Education, Aranda said, adding “our goal is for kids to have their supplies before school starts.”

The formal drive ends on Friday, Aug. 15. However, Aranda explained his company would accept donations and supplies after that date if a donor needed more time. Last year, his Dunkirk office raised over $500 and 1,000 pounds of donated goods, Aranda said.
