Update:ย At 9:20 a.m, TheBayNet.com learned that the cause of the fire was a grease fire that had broken out. The injured female sustained burns to her arms and legs while attempting to extinguish the fire. The Fire Marshal estimates the damage to the property to be around $1,000. Most of the damage was contained to the front door entrance.ย

Prince Frederick, MD – The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department reports an unidentified female who sustained injuries during a fire at a home on Fawn Court early Wednesday evening, June 6, was flown to a regional medical center. No other injuries were reported as a result of the blaze. The incident is under investigation and an official report is pending.


Prince Frederick, MD – Authorities in Calvert County reported a house fire on Fawn Court around 8 p.m. One person is reportedly injured, sustaining a burning injury as a result of the blaze. The injured individual is being flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to a regional burn unit. The helicopter landing site is Calvert Elementary School.ย
