
Irma Ann Hartman, 94, of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, passed away on April 30, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born on February 25, 1932, in Washington, D.C., to George and Josephine August.
Irma married her beloved husband, Robert Calvin Hartman, on February 25, 1951. Together, they built a loving family and shared many wonderful years. Irma was a dedicated mother who loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her three children: Steven Hartman of Mechanicsville, Maryland; Susan Hamblett of Spokane, Washington; and Sandra Carr of Charlotte Hall, Maryland. She was a proud grandmother to Robin Hartman-Proctor, Robert Hartman, Stacey Reynolds, and Christine Carr-Thomas. Irma was also blessed with fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her
immense joy.
Irma dedicated 30 years of her professional life to Bank of America, where she served as Head Bookkeeper and Assistant Treasurer. She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. In her free time, Irma enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, bowling, playing LCR, and watching crime shows. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on May 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a memorial service immediately following at:
