Mechanicsville, MD – A St. Mary’s County teenager who was residing in a group home for girls in Allegheny County, MD has been missing for several days, according to her mother. The girl’s disappearance has been confirmed by Western Maryland law enforcement authorities.
Kelsey Plumley, 16 of Mechanicsville, was reported missing from Allegheny High School in Cumberland Tuesday morning, March 8. The girl’s mother told The BayNet that the group home has filed a missing person report with the Cumberland City Police Department and that law enforcement agencies in the Mid-Atlantic Region have been advised.
The teen is believed to be trying to reach the Baltimore area. However, the family has had no contact with her. The family has provided The BayNet with pictures and have told us the girl has been known to frequently dye her hair.
