On August 9, 2026, Lucy Marie Estelle White, aged 63, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 18, 1962, in LaPlata, Maryland to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Andrews.

Estelle was blessed with four children, Beth Oldershaw (Craig) of Prince Frederick, MD, Michelle Humphreys (Mike) of Mechanicsville, MD, Michael White (Amanda) of Huntington, MD and Billy White (Vicky) of Mechanicsville, MD. Family was everything to her, including her sweetheart companion of 16 years, Larry Stamp.

For more than 25 years, Estelle dedicated her career to Emergency Medical Services. She was an EMT instructor for the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute, where she built many relationships and was known as one of the best EMT instructors of her time. Her diverse roles in the EMS community also included leading recruitment efforts for Calvert County Fire/EMS, and acting as the retention coordinator for the Calvert County Government. She was also a member of the Benedict Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad for many years.

In her early days, Estelle enjoyed playing softball, card games and board games with her friends. Her favorite Holiday was Christmas and she spent a great amount of time to make it magical for her kids. Estelle always proudly cheered as the number one fan at her children’s sporting events. She was a lifelong fan of the Washington Redskins and her love for her poodles was immense.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Charles and William Andrews. She is survived by her companion, Larry Stamp, her children, her brother Jim Andrews, and her grandchildren: Alissa, Nick, Kiersten, Callie, Joey, Danny, and Mikey.
