Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack Trooper First Class Casarella stopped a vehicle on March 27 at 2:47 p.m. on Tour 4 South of Nursery Road in Lusby for traffic violations.
An odor of marijuana was detected emitting from inside the vehicle.
A search revealed marijuana on the driver side floorboard. A handgun was also found in the vehicle. Stanley C. Boyce, 27 of Ellicott City, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
