It was a beautiful day, and many had a simply fabulous July 4. In Calvert County, Solomons experienced a beautiful day that led to colorful fireworks and tons of visitors. But crowds can be fun, and, of course, everyone had a fabulous time.
Harry Kole performed Gershwin, Jerome Kern and Cole Porter at St. Mary’s College in a concert reminiscent of July 4 activities on the Commons in Boston. Kole’s sound was truly smooth.
In Charles County, kids piled onto ponies, leaving their parents to revel in memories of Independence Day picnics and gatherings in years gone by.
Hope everyone had a wonderful July 4 – one without a blistering sunburn or too much liquid cheer.
