Leonardtown, MD – The first middle school game of the season leads the Leonardtown Girl’s Basketball team to a win, 42 to 39, over the Esperenza Pirates this past Sunday. Lead scorers, Chalon Miles (Pirates) and Imani Eubanks (Jaguars) went “toe-to-toe” the entire game.
Pay attention to middle school and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) girls; their skills are phenomenal. They are our future WNBA and Overseas League talent. After watching the first game of the middle school season, fans was blown away by the precision, agility and speed. Many of the girls play on additional AAU leagues to elevate their gifts and it shows!
