UPDATE – Motor vehicle accident reported with injuries

UPDATE 3:02 pm – A total of three occupants in the vehicle are being transported by two ambulances to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.

UPDATE 2:33 pm – The road is closed. A maintenance crew from the County Roads Department has been requested to bring sand for a large amount of oil and transmission fluid in the roadway.

UPDATE 2:28 pm – First responding fire department units are finding a single vehicle accident involving a single vehicle turned on its side.

UPDATE 2:26 pm – Police on the scene are advising that there is no vehicle fire.

UPDATE 2:20 pm – Police, fire units, and EMS are responding to the scene and are prepared for a vehicle fire due to a report that one of the vehicles may be on fire.

Mechanicsville, Md. (2:14 pm) – A motor vehicle accident has been reported with injuries on Yowaiski Mill Road and West Lakeland Drive.
