LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — We are receiving reports that Narcan recently saved the life of a man who overdosed in Lexington Park.

At approximately 4:52 p.m. on April 25, first responders were alerted to reports of a 40-year-old man who had recently overdosed in the bathroom of the Wawa gas station at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Rue Purchase Road.

Upon arrival, units began to administer doses of Narcan to the suspect who had stopped breathing.

The second dose of Narcan was considered to be “life saving.” We do not currently have a further update on the patient’s condition.

This is a developing story. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.
