Carol Ann Evans and Anita Evans Kendrick are opening Island Treasures located at 16450 piney point road which is on St. Georges Island today. The shop will be open on Saturdays from 12pm-5pm. It is a beachy chic gift shop. They decided to open the shop to display their love of making home decor items from the natural elements that they have collected from St. Georges Island and the surrounding areas for the last twenty years.
Anita grew up on the island and has been collecting beachglass since she was 13 years old and starting making jewelry about 5 years ago. Carol Ann has lived on the island for approxsimately 20 years and love collecting beachglass and driftwood . They both love the island very much.
