Newtowne Neck State Park will reopen to public hunting December 15 through February 4, 2015 as part of an interim program for the 2014-2015 season. The site will allow for hunting of small/upland game, deer, turkeys, geese and riparian waterfowl.

Hunter access to the park will require possession of a seasonal permit and daily reservations through the Myrtle Grove Wildlife Management Area office. Hunters must park in designated parking areas.
