ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On June 16 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the Hampton Inn located at 124 Womack Drive in Annapolis for a customer dispute. Officers arrived on scene and encountered Robert Curtis Williams, 32 of Edgewater and he appeared to be intoxicated.
While speaking with Williams, officers noticed a bulge in Williams’ waistband which they believed to be a firearm. Suddenly the object dropped down inside his pants to his foot. Officers immediately placed Robert Curtis Williams in custody without incident.
The officers recovered a loaded 9mm handgun with no serial number. The suspect was arrested and charged.
