Bushwood, MD— On Feb.20, St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Cpl.Daniel Snyder responded to Upland Drive in Bushwood for a report of a domestic dispute with assault.ย
When Snyder arrived on the scene, he made contact with the defendant Kevin F. Brown, 44, of Waldorf in the driveway. Brown told Snyder that on occasion he stays at the residence and the court took care of the active protective order.ย
The victim told Snyder thatย these is an active protective orderย in place against Brown, and “He (Brown) isn’t supposed to be there,” according to charging documents.ย
The witness in the case told Snyder, “As they (Brown and victim) were arguing he pushed her causingย her to fall back. she then pushed him out of the residence and followed him out. She threw a piece of broken plaster at the back window of his vehicle,” according to charging documents.ย
Brown was arrested and charged with violating the protective order, and assault second-degree. Brown had a scheduled bond review on Feb.22, where he was held on bond.ย
Brown faces a maximum jail sentence of ten years and three months and or a maximum fine of $3,500.ย
