On Sept. 2 at 3 p.m., officers responded to the 9700 block of Meadowview Drive in Newburg for the report of an attempt burglary.
Investigation revealed sometime between 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. that day, an unknown suspect broke the door knob off of a rear door and attempted to pry the door open. It did not appear the suspect gained entry and nothing was reported stolen. Officers canvassed the area and the scene was processed for evidence.
