The Town of Leonardtown is hosting its annual “Christmas on the Square and Tree Lighting” event in Historic downtown Leonardtown, MD, on Friday, November 23rd from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Bring the whole family for holiday entertainment, music, sleigh rides, train rides, fire truck rides, hay rides, horse & carriage rides, a petting zoo, a live nativity, face painting, make-and-take crafts for children, an ice sculpture demonstration, and more while you wait for Santa’s arrival to light the Town Christmas Tree at 7:00 p.m.! Park at the College of Southern Maryland and take the free shuttle into Town or park at St. Mary’s Ryken High School and enjoy the beautifully decorated walk along Fenwick Street into Town Square.
