Update, 6:14 p.m. – Reports of live wires down in the area of Hardesty Road in Calvert County.

Large hail and severe lightning in Golden Beach and Mechanicsville in St. Mary’s.

Update. 6 p.m. – Parts of northern Calvert are getting severe weather from this storm system. There are numerous reports of trees down. There are reports of live electrical wires down in the areas of Ward Road and Brickhouse Road just in from Route 4 in Calvert County.

This is a serious storm. Be prepared. Take appropriate precautions.
