HOLLYWOOD, Md. – SoMD LIVE, a new event production company, is hosting their first concert at Historic Sotterley in Hollywood, MD, on July 25 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
With the purchase of a ticket, attendees gain admission to the full event. Tickets are $20 online via Eventbrite or $25 at the door in cash, by Venmo, or CashApp. Ages 12 and under are free.
Held at the restored barns and small plaza at Historic Sotterley, located at 44300 Sotterley Ln, Hollywood, MD 20636, this special indoor/outdoor event will bring together live music by local musicians, local small businesses, and beautiful views into an all-encompassing experience that celebrates the hidden gems Southern Maryland has to offer.
The concert will feature seven acts ranging from individual singer/songwriters to full bands, across all different genres including electronic, indie, folk, R&B, rap, and rock.
Guests are invited to browse the Vendor Alley, which will feature vinyl records, CDs, jewelry, figurines, baked goods, and more.
We will also be hosting the Blue Wind Gourmet Food Truck, She’s Fresh Lemonade, and Historic Sotterley will be providing bar service.
Historic Sotterley will also provide its original lawn games, adding an interactive element to the event that all ages will enjoy. One is based on football, and another on basketball.
Cloud Harsha and Thomas D’Arista were motivated to start this company and produce this event in response to hearing “there’s nothing to do around here” constantly from fellow young people. Our mission is to prove that this place has a lot to offer and make it more easily accessible.
