LEONARDTOWN, Md. — St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks facilities and programs will be closed starting at 1:30 p.m. out of caution for developing severe weather expected this afternoon into the evening.
The closure includes all St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks facilities, parks and programs, including:
- Leonard Hall Recreation Center
- Margaret Brent Recreation Center
- Hollywood Recreation Center
- Carver Recreation Center
- Wellness & Aquatics Center
- Gymnastics Academy
- Great Mills Swimming Pool
- Wicomico Shores Golf Course and Riverview Restaurant
- County museums, including Piney Point Lighthouse, St. Clement’s Island Museum and The Old Jail Museum
- All athletic fields and park amenities
