On July 24, just after 8 p.m., TFC J. Edelen was dispatched to Circuit City, Waldorf, for a report of a theft in progress.
TFC Edelen made contact with the Manager, Godwin Eremah, when he arrived at Circuit City. TFC Edelen was advised that the suspects had left the scene in a black Mitsubishi. TFC Edelen patrolled the area and found the Mitsubishi parked at the Old Country Buffet.
TFC Edelen approached the vehicle and made contact with Richard Lee Thompson, Jr., 21 of Waldorf, and Kiera Ashley Brien, 21 of Waldorf.
The Manager of Circuit City made a positive ID of the suspects. A search of the vehicle revealed two silver metal spoons and a needle containing cocaine residue and a baggie containing suspected marijuana. Both subjects were arrested and charged with the following: theft under $100; possession of marijuana; possession of CDS not marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
