Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Stride Rite shoes located in the Festival Shopping Center in Waldorf on Aug. 29 at 2:04 p.m., for the repot of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed an employee of the store was approached by a white male wearing a baby blue bandana across his face. The suspect demanded money and displayed a handgun. The victim complied and the suspect fled. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, approximately 5’11”, and a medium build. He was wearing a black shirt, a blue bandana and a baseball cap.
