DEALE, Md. — Southern Maryland’s animal lovers are invited to support the Calvert County Humane Society this Saturday, July 25, at its Stars, Stripes, and Second Chances event.
The fundraiser will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Deale Elks Lodge, 6022 Drum Point Road, on July 25. General admission tickets are $35 and include dinner. There are also sponsorship opportunities still available, with packages ranging from a community sponsor for $100 to a platinum sponsor for $1,000.
Ticket sales end tomorrow, July 24, so anyone interested in attending and supporting the Humane Society should act quickly to secure their spot.
In addition to the event itself, the Humane Society is selling custom T-shirts at the merchandise booth with an American250 theme that celebrates the Humane Society. The shirts are available exclusively at the event for $25, and all proceeds will go toward the Humane Society. In addition to dinner and dancing, the event will also feature a cash bar and games.
The Calvert County Humane Society is on a mission to provide compassionate care, shelter, and advocacy for homeless and at-risk animals while striving to find them loving, permanent homes. The organization holds fundraising events throughout the year and takes donations in person, by mail and on its website.
