On June 29, at approximately 12:07 p.m., Trooper A. Watson was working stationary laser at northbound MD Route 5 and Post Office Road when he observed a Toyota Scion stopped with its rear bumper approximately two feet in front of the white stop line causing the vehicle to protrude into the intersection.
Trooper Watson made contact with the driver, Michael Brandon Dodson, 18 of Waldorf, and detected an odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
Dodson was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
