Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Westlake High School located at 3300 Middletown Road in Waldorf for the report of a burglary in progress, Thursday.
The officers observed three suspects running across the football field. They quickly apprehended the suspects. The suspects were identified as a15-year-old male from Woodford, Va. and two Waldorf males, ages 12 and 15.
The investigation revealed the suspects broke into the school and attempted to take money from the vending machine. When they were unsuccessful, they fled. They were charged with second-degree burglary. Officer M. Hancock investigated.
