Locals of Southern Maryland attended the annual Maryland Food Truck Festival at Jefferson Patterson Park on Saturday to sample the regions best food trucks, a car show and live music.

From authentic Mexican to Caribbean to Creole, festival-goers strolled through the park to try their pick of over 25 Sweet & Savory Food Trucks.

Kids of all ages got to enjoy racing remote control trucks, moon bounces, a water slide, and a 300-foot Zip Line.

Thirty-plus vendors at the Vendor Village sold jewelry, clothing, soaps and sweet treats.

A portion of proceeds from the event went to Jefferson Patterson Park and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) — the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

Grab a bite at the next festival on Saturday, September 14, at Herrington Harbour in Tracy’s Landing.
