On Oct. 14 at 4:15 p.m., Tammy Johnson Boyd, 36 of Mechanicsville, was arrested by TFC R. Rezza for theft under $100, forgery and prescription fraud. TFC Rezza responded to the Tidewater Pharmacy in the 29000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for the reported prescription fraud.
Upon arrival, contact was made with a female employee who advised that Boyd was attempting to obtain a Percocet 7.5 mg/325, prescription medication by forging the prescription. Boyd was detained and a search incident to her arrest revealed she was in possession of a grape soda which she had partially consumed without paying in addition she had also consumed Home Lab Allergy medication without paying.
Boyd was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was detained pending a bond review.
