At approximately 11:30 p.m., on Nov. 20, Deputy Milton Pesante initiated a traffic stop on Point Lookout Road in Mechanicsville. Deputy Pesante identified the driver as Stanley Ignatius Armstrong, Jr., age 36 from Callaway and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath.
Armstrong failed to satisfactorily complete field sobriety tests and it was also determined that he was operating the vehicle on a suspended/revoked license. Armstrong was arrested and charged with Driving While Under the Influence, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, and Driving on a Suspended/Revoked license.
