LA PLATA, Md. – On Wednesday, November 14 at 7 p.m., the Charles County Sheriff’s Office will host a Citizens Advisory Meeting at the American Legion located at 6330 Crain Highway in La Plata. Representatives from each of the Sheriff’s Office districts will be present to meet with county residents and talk about crime trends and crime prevention. All who attend will also have the opportunity to tour the new H.O.P.E. (Heroin Overdose Prevention Effort) trailer. Light refreshments will be served.
