On Oct. 12 at 12:06 a.m., Vashon Lamar Hayden, 25 of Lexington Park, was arrested by Cpl. A. Malaspina for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. 

Cpl. Malaspina responded to the reported disturbance in the 46000 block of Lucca Way in Lexington Park. 

Upon arrival, Cpl. Malaspina stopped a black passenger car leaving the residence.  Contact was made with the passenger, Hayden.  While Hayden was being interviewed outside of the vehicle, he was observed throwing two small plastic baggies of cocaine. 

The cocaine was recovered and Hayden was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
