On Tuesday, March 3 at 6:36 p.m., Charles County authorities reported Hawthorne Road was closed in the area of Bibury Lane, just west of Mitchell Road, due to an auto accident.  Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police and Emergency Services are on the scene handling the incident.  Please use caution in the area and expect delays.
