On August 27, at 10:17 p.m., Javarus McWilliams Swallows, 22 of California, was arrested by Tpr. G. A. Thompson on an outstanding Arrest Warrant issued by the District Court in Leonardtown on May 6.
The original charge on the warrant was second-degree assault. Swallows was apprehended on a routine traffic stop on Patuxent Beach Road and Kingston Creek Road in California.
Swallows was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
