Need a reason to put a spring in your step, and a song in your heart?ย Look no further than Calvert Library Prince Frederickโs 6th annual Tuesday Tunes series!ย Each Tuesday during the month of May, at 7:00pm, a different musician will take the stage, and turn library to concert hall.ย Some will have you rockinโ and rollinโ, some will speak to your soul, and they will all leave you cheering for more!

The month-long event kicks off on May 3 with Jennifer Cooper and James Witherite.ย Members of Go-DIVA! Productions, Jennifer (vocals) and James (keyboards) offer up a set list that runs the gamut from jazz to rock; from cabaret to the Carpenters.ย Taking songs from some of Go-DIVAโs most popular revues, as well as tunes performed by their popular band, GrooveSpin, this show promises to offer up a little something for everyone.ย Samples can be heard at http://www.go-diva.webs.com.

May 10 will see the long-awaited return to Calvert Library of Colorado duo Acoustic Eidolon.ย Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire have become regulars in the Tuesday Tunes series due to their outstanding popularity.ย Hannahโs masterful cello sounds paired with Joeโs innovative use of the double-necked โguitjo,โ create a completely original sound that you will not want to miss.ย Check out their website (www.acousticeidolon.com) for a preview.
