“Understanding Social Security” hosted by Calvert Library

Questions about Social Security?  Calvert Library Prince Frederick is partnering with Lee Ritter, Edward Jones Advisor, to present the workshop Understanding Social Security on Wednesday, April 9 at 7pm.  This event falls during Money Smart Week, a public awareness campaign to help people better manage their personal finances. This seminar will cover some key aspects of Social Security such as how benefits are calculated, what is full retirement age and how to choose the right time to file.  Attendees will hear about receiving benefits while working, handling provisional income and its tax implications, as well as options for spouses and ex-spouses.
