The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County is seeking citizens who are interested in volunteering their time to the community by serving on various Boards, Committees, and Commissions.
Descriptions of the boards and the membership application can be found on the County’s website at http://www.co.saint-marys.md.us/voluntr/. All applications must include a resume and be submitted no later than November 28, 2014.
The following boards, committees and commissions are seeking volunteers to fill current or anticipated vacancies:
- Board of Code Appeals Museum Division-Board of Trustees, St. Mary’s
- Commission for Women County Dept. of Recreation & Parks
- Commission on Aging Property Tax Assessment Appeal Board
- Commission on the Environment Recreation and Parks Board
- Ethics Commission Transportation Advisory Committee
- Historic Preservation Commission Tri-County Council
- Human Relations Commission Wicomico Shores Golf Course Advisory Board
