UPDATE – 4/29/2024 – Reward Offered For Information On Stabbing In Parking Lot Of St. Charles Towne Center
WALDORF, Md. – A shooting reportedly occurred in the parking lot at St. Charles Towne Shopping Center’s Reithoffer Festival, 11130 Mall Circle in Waldorf around 9:10 p.m. on April 27, 2024. Detectives are on the scene investigating the incident.
Upon arrival, crews found a 15-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. It was later determined, at the hospital, that the victim had a stab wound and not a gunshot wound.
EMS requested a MEDEVAC due to the severity of the injuries. Firefighters quickly established a landing zone for the Maryland State Police’s Trooper 2 helicopter.
The victim was subsequently airlifted to an area trauma center for treatment.
The police investigation into the stabbing is ongoing

This is so sad and heartbreaking because me and my friends were supposed to go on Sunday and the fact that it’s just right outside my house and people are age are getting shot is sad and what if it was us.
Why on earth would you even consider going to any festival in Waldorf? And why on earth are you living in Waldorf???
OK, so she could move to the Dakotas and be safer. Other than that, it’s pretty much the same all over. Waldorf is certainly no more dangerous than other cities in Maryland.
