On July 4, just before 4 p.m., Trooper W. Posey was on routine patrol on northbound St. Charles Parkway south of Post Office Road when he stopped Perraz Lydell Chisley, 18 years of Waldorf, for stolen tags.
A check also revealed the vehicle was stolen as well.
Chisley and his passengers were removed from the vehicle. Chisley, and Carlos Leon Baker, 19 of Pomfret, and 4 juveniles were arrested for motor vehicle theft, theft of license plates and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, marijuana.
