A 23-year-old fell into a large bonfire Saturday and was later flown to Prince George’s Hospital trauma unit for burns.
Maryland Deputy State Fire Jason M. Mowbray reports volunteer fire and ambulance crews responded to 40153 Golden Beach Road, Mechanicsville, at 11:50 p.m. Saturday.
Mowbray reports that Johnathan Cusick, 23, fell into a “bonfire” and sustained first and second degree burns to his back, neck, head, and arms.
Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
