CALVERT COUNTY, Md. — Children ages 2-5 are invited to take part in a Junior Firefighter event hosted by Calvert County Parks and Recreation on Thursday, May 7.
Participants will have the opportunity to earn Junior Firefighter status by completing a training course and participating in hands-on activities designed for young children.
The event will be held at multiple locations throughout the county. Participants must register for their preferred location:
- Section A and A1 — North Beach Fire Department, 10:30-11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.
- Section B — St. Leonard Fire Department, 10-11 a.m.
- Section C — Solomons Fire Department, 10:30-11:15 a.m.
