
WALDORF, Md. — A woman was taken to a trauma center early Saturday after a single-vehicle crash in Waldorf.
The crash was reported around 2:15 a.m. June 6, 2026, in the 2000 block of Smallwood Drive West.
Emergency dispatch information indicated a vehicle struck a tree and overturned into a ditch. Crews responded for a report of a trapped occupant and found the driver trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters extricated the driver, a 38-year-old woman, from the vehicle. She was evaluated at the scene and transported by ground to UM Capital Region Medical Center.
Police are investigating the crash.
