CHARLES COUNTY, Md. — Charles County Parks & Recreation is offering a variety of upcoming summer programs and activities for residents of all ages, including professional basketball outings, dance camps, kayak tours, arts programs, and community events.

Washington Mystics Suite Experience

Residents are invited to ride along to watch the Washington Mystics take on the Los Angeles Sparks from premium suite seating. Participants will also have the opportunity to head onto the court after the game for a special center-court group photo.

Destiny Dance Camp

The Destiny Dance Camp offers young dancers an opportunity to explore ballet, jazz, hip hop, and creative movement in a fun and energetic environment. Camp activities include choreography, games, dance techniques, and a mini showcase at the end of the week.

Mallows Bay Kayak Tours

Participants can paddle through the World War I Ghost Fleet during guided kayak tours at Mallows Bay. The tours include an introductory lesson, tandem kayak, paddle, life jacket, and guided experience led by knowledgeable instructors. The tours are designed for both beginners and experienced paddlers.

Planting Seeds Camps

Planting Seeds Camps will offer hands-on arts and enrichment activities focused on creativity and self-expression. Campers will participate in activities such as eco-friendly jewelry making, clay sculpting, songwriting, and learning magic tricks.
