Motor‑Vehicle Collision Involving Saint Mary's Deputy Sheriff In Great Mills

GREAT MILLS, Md. — St. Mary’s County Fire & Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded Sunday afternoon to a motor-vehicle collision at the intersection of Chancellors Run Road and FDR Boulevard, where multiple injuries were reported.

The call was received at 5:04 p.m. on May 31, prompting the dispatch of multiple emergency units. Maryland State Police also responded.

Upon arrival, EMS personnel evaluated three patients for injuries, two men, one with a laceration to the back of his head, and a nine-year-old boy. 

The crash is under investigation.
