
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A 20-year-old woman was flown to a trauma center Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle in Lexington Park.
The crash was reported around 9:20 p.m. on June 20, 2026, in the area of Great Mills Road and Eric Road.
Initial dispatch information indicated the woman was struck and was located off the roadway across from Eric Road on Great Mills Road.
The woman was conscious, alert and breathing when first responders arrived. She was reported to have road rash, bleeding and hip pain following the crash.
EMS loaded the patient into an ambulance and consulted with SYSCOM for medevac transport.
Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 7 responded and flew the woman to a trauma center.
Police are investigating the crash.
