
PATUXENT RIVER, Md. — Lunchtime at Naval Air Station Patuxent River will bring a changing menu of local flavors in September, with food trucks rotating among engineering buildings, testing facilities and other work areas across the installation.
The September 2026 food truck calendar features familiar Southern Maryland vendors, including Nicoletti’s, Gato Tacos, Blue Wind Gourmet, Happy Lumpia, OTP Wing Wagon, Slim Chickens, Bowl 29 and Scratch Kitchen.
Service is scheduled Mondays through Thursdays at designated locations, generally between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Webster Field will also host a different vendor each weekday from Monday through Thursday.
North And South Engineering
At Building 2185, North Engineering, Nicoletti’s will serve from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. Gato Tacos will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, while Blue Wind Gourmet will visit from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays.
Building 2187, South Engineering, will host Happy Lumpia from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Nicoletti’s from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays.
On Wednesdays, Gato Tacos and Nothing Bundt Cakes will serve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. OTP Wing Wagon will close out the week at South Engineering from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays.
Drill Hall And Aircraft Tower
At the Drill Hall near Old McDonald, Gato Tacos will serve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays. Happy Lumpia will visit from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, and Bowl 29 will serve during the same hours Thursdays.
The Aircraft Tower will host Nicoletti’s from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Gato Tacos from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays.
Buildings 2133, 2118, 2109 and 2165
Blue Wind Gourmet will begin the week at Building 2133, serving from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays. Slim Chickens will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, followed by OTP Wing Wagon during the same hours Wednesdays. Scratch Kitchen will serve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays.
At Building 2118 near the Atlantic Test Range, Blue Wind Gourmet will visit from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays. Bowl 29 will serve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays.
Building 2109 will host Slim Chickens from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Blue Wind Gourmet from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays.
OTP Wing Wagon will serve at Building 2165 on Buse Road from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays.
Webster Field
Employees at Webster Field will have a scheduled food truck option four days each week.
Slim Chickens will serve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, followed by OTP Wing Wagon during the same hours Tuesdays. Scratch Kitchen will visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays, and Slim Chickens will return from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays.

Additional Dining Options
Several permanent dining locations will also operate across the installation in September.
Seawing’s Café at Building 2272 will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, with coffee available until 1:30 p.m.
Subway at Building 421 will operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
Wayback Burgers at the Navy Exchange Main Store will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
Panda Express, also located at the NEX Main Store, will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays. It will be closed Sundays.
Greenberry Coffee at the NEX Main Store will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed Saturdays and Sundays.
The schedule applies to locations aboard Naval Air Station Patuxent River and Webster Field. Installation access requirements remain in effect.
