LARGO, Md. — County Executive Aisha N. Braveboy will host a Town Hall on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 7:00 PMalongside G.S. Proctor & Associates, and the 35V development team to engage residents in a public conversation about the future of the former Six Flags America site — one of the most significant redevelopment opportunities in the county’s history.
A joint venture between 35V, the investment firm co-founded by Prince George’s County native and basketball superstar Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman, and Atlanta-based TPA Group, has been selected by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN) as the buyer and future steward of the 515-acre site. The site represents a transformational opportunity to create a year-round destination that drives economic growth, generates employment, and positions Prince George’s County as the premier hub for innovation, entertainment, sports, and technology on the East Coast.
“There is no limit to the way we can reimagine this land — retail, dining, business, and world-class experiences, all here in Prince George’s County,”said County Executive Braveboy.”We honor the memories Six Flags gave our community, but this is our moment to think bigger. We have 515 acres and the vision to maximize every inch of it — creating jobs, attracting investment, and building something our residents will be proud of for generations to come.”
Residents are encouraged to make their voices heard by completing a brief community survey to share their vision for the site, identify the activities and experiences they want to see in Prince George’s County, and receive updates on the project’s progress and next steps.

No, we don’t want a subway near. We all saw what happen near Majic Johnson theater. Teenager coming from the District of Columbia. They had to close the stores and restaurant bcus patrons didn’t feel safe they were unsupervised. No thank you!
I think if you make a better water park with better rides ,water slides for the kids and families to enjoy during the summer.
Leave the cental ave and 202 corridors alone. Don’t poison our water or increase our electricity. Removing parks and planning money put us at a risk of increase taxes.
Partnering with Moore shifting our dollars calling it a savings is not good.
Change your partnerships.
I think that land should become something else that can attract tourists and also be enjoyed by locals. I really like the sphere idea. The Wizard of oz ( sphere )….
Build a family friendly resort for tourism and the people of the community. Just no more townhomes.
