MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — Coffee lovers in Southern Maryland will soon have a new destination to gather, connect and enjoy handcrafted beverages as La Tazza Coffee Co. officially opens its doors on Tuesday, July 7.
The new coffee shop, located in the former Pizza Boli’s building in Mechanicsville at 26945 Three Notch Road, announced its grand opening will begin at 7 a.m., welcoming customers for its first official day of business.
Promising “Great Coffee. Good People. Good Vibes.,” the locally owned business hopes to become more than a coffee shop — serving as a community gathering place where neighbors can meet, work, relax and connect.
“We can’t wait to welcome you,” the business said in its grand opening announcement.
New Coffee Shop Arrives In Mechanicsville
As previously reported by The BayNet, La Tazza Coffee Co. has transformed the former Pizza Boli’s location into a warm and inviting café designed to bring people together over coffee and conversation.
La Tazza Coffee Co. menu items will include: cappuccinos, café lattes, flavored lattes, chai tea, matcha, and iced coffee, along with grab-and-go sandwiches, bagels, croissants, and paninis such as Cuban, chicken pesto, and ham and cheese. Cakes, pastries, and cookies will also be available.
The business takes its name from the Italian word for “the cup,” reflecting its focus on coffee culture, hospitality and community. Owners have emphasized creating a comfortable atmosphere where customers can meet friends, study, work remotely, grab a quick lunch or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of coffee.
The company’s branding centers on the belief that good coffee can help build stronger communities and lasting relationships.
