St. Mary’s County Job Fair Returns Sept. 2 With More Than 55 Employers Hiring

CALIFORNIA, Md. — Job seekers from across Southern Maryland will have the opportunity to meet with dozens of employers this fall during the 2026 St. Mary’s County Job Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2, at the University System of Maryland at Southern Maryland.

The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University System of Maryland at Southern Maryland, 44219 Airport Road, California, Md.

Organizers say the job fair will feature more than 55 businesses representing multiple industries, giving attendees the chance to explore employment opportunities, speak directly with hiring representatives and learn more about available positions.

Opportunity To Connect With Local Employers

The event is designed for job seekers at all stages of their careers, whether they are entering the workforce, looking for a career change or seeking new opportunities.

Attendees will be able to connect with employers from a wide range of industries, ask questions about open positions and gain insight into available career paths throughout the region.

Organizers encourage participants to come prepared with copies of their résumé and dress professionally to make the most of networking opportunities with prospective employers.
