WALDORF, Md. — Firefighters responded Wednesday afternoon after a fire broke out at a Waldorf home, displacing three adults.

The fire was reported at approximately 12:48 p.m. on July 8, 2026, at a home in the 3400 block of Williamsburg Drive.

The incident was initially dispatched as an automatic fire alarm at the residence. The alarm company later reported it had spoken with the homeowner before calling 911 and was told there was a fire in the home. The occupants were advised to evacuate.

Crews arrived and found fire on the first floor before additional fire was located in the attic. Firefighters stretched lines into the home and worked to reach the attic through the garage area.
