
WALDORF, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle crash Wednesday evening at the intersection of Smallwood Drive and Copley Avenue in Waldorf.
The crash was reported around 8:20 p.m. Sept. 2, 2026, after a caller in the area reported hearing a loud boom and seeing multiple vehicles near the intersection.
Fire and EMS crews arrived and evaluated those involved in the collision.
A 35-year-old man was evaluated for back and neck pain. The driver of another vehicle also requested to be evaluated by EMS.
At least one patient was transported by ambulance to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
